A space entirely dedicated to young people for future inventors!
For its 51st edition, the Inventions Geneva inaugurated the Youth Lab, a space entirely dedicated to the inventors of tomorrow. The programme included scientific and fun activities, as well as a new competition, ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’, open to students aged 4 to 18.
Workshops to learn about science
A host of workshops awaited children: surprising experiments to discover quantum physics, fun discoveries about artificial intelligence, creative challenges to imagine and build, real-time robot piloting and an engaging introduction to digital technology. A magical optical-illusion also allowed every participant to leave with their own creation.

A new junior competition
New in 2026: the ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’ competition offered a space dedicated to young people aged 4 to 18 who wished to present their ideas, prototypes or projects in a recognized international setting. This competition promoted scientific vocations, intergenerational exchanges and the transmission of knowledge, while highlighting the creativity and audacity of young inventors.

Strengthen links between schools, institutions and the professional world.
Each project was exhibited at the Exhibition and evaluated by a dedicated jury. The best projects were awarded prizes at a public ceremony, which took place on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
