Salon International des Inventions de Genève
For its 51st edition, the Inventions Geneva is inaugurating the Youth Lab, a space entirely dedicated to the inventors of tomorrow. On the programme: scientific and fun activities, as well as a new competition, ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’, open to students aged 4 to 18.
Nearly 60 workshop sessions will bring scientific, creative and fun experiments to life for children and teenagers aged 4 to 18. Younger children will explore the basics of invention through participatory workshops, while those aged 7 and over will get hands-on with today’s technologies thanks to short, interactive formats.
Highlight on a selection of workshops:
Quantum physics: surprising experiments with the Scienscope from the University of Geneva.
Artificial intelligence: fun discoveries with Digital Kidz.
Robotics: creative challenges to imagine, build and control a robot in real time with Addictlab.
Optical illusions (registration required): a workshop where each participant leaves with their own creation, offered by Les Ptits Scientifiques.
These workshops are offered in collaboration with:
New this year: the ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’ competition, a space dedicated to young people aged 4 to 18 who want to present their ideas, prototypes or projects in a recognized international setting. This competition promotes scientific vocations, intergenerational exchanges and the transmission of knowledge, while highlighting the creativity and audacity of young inventors.

Each project will be exhibited at the Exhibition and evaluated by a dedicated jury. The best projects will be awarded prizes at a public ceremony, which will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the WIPO/IPI stage.
