Registration for school workshops is now open for state schools and educational establishments.
Because invention and creativity begin at an early age, the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva is delighted to welcome schools on Wednesday 11, Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March.
At the heart of the Exhibition, pupils will have the opportunity to discover inventions from around the world, talk to passionate inventors, watch demonstrations and take part in interactive workshops.
These school visits reflect the Exhibition’s desire to stimulate curiosity, develop inventive thinking and encourage young people to imagine new solutions for tomorrow’s world. These unique moments of discovery and inspiration may well give rise to future inventors!
You can register your pupils for one of our workshops using the online form, selecting the desired activity. Some workshops must be booked directly with our partners; their contact details are provided on the form.
If you prefer to organise a visit independently, your class is welcome to take a ‘free tour’ without workshops and can enjoy the exhibition at their leisure.
Due to high demand, each class may only register for one workshop. The Exhibition reserves the right to cancel any additional registrations in the event of multiple registrations for the same class.
To ensure that your visit is both enriching and enjoyable for everyone, we invite you to make your students aware of the importance of maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere and of exploring each booth or area with curiosity, but above all with respect.
We count on your vigilance as accompanying adults, as the students remain under your full responsibility throughout your visit.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and involvement, and enjoy your visit to the Exhibition!
The Exhibition opens its doors at 9.30 a.m. and many classes arrive at this time. To ensure a smooth entry, please keep your pupils together to avoid jostling or disorganised movements.
A picnic area in the lobby ABC, located before the entrance to the Exhibition, is available for your lunch. For more information, please visit the ‘info point’ located at the entrance to the Exhibition at the top of the escalators.
A free cloakroom, located at the entrance to the Exhibition, is available for school groups.
Lost pupils should go to the ‘information point’ located at the entrance to the Exhibition at the top of the escalators.
Teachers should also report any lost children from their group to the ‘information point’.
If you lose something, please send an email to info@palexpo.ch with a description of the lost item. We will then be able to check the lost property and help you find it.
