A space entirely dedicated to young people for future inventors!

For its 51st edition, the Inventions Geneva is inaugurating the Youth Lab, a space entirely dedicated to the inventors of tomorrow.

On the programme: scientific and fun activities, as well as a new competition, ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’, open to students aged 4 to 18.

Workshops to learn about science

A host of workshops await children: surprising experiments to discover quantum physics, fun discoveries about artificial intelligence, creative challenges to imagine and build, real-time robot control, a fun introduction to digital technology… not to mention a magical optical illusion workshop where everyone leaves with their own creation.

These workshops are offered in collaboration with:

A new junior competition

New this year: the ‘Inventeur∙rices de demain – Young Talents’ competition, a space dedicated to young people aged 4 to 18 who want to present their ideas, prototypes or projects in a recognized international setting. This competition promotes scientific vocations, intergenerational exchanges and the transmission of knowledge, while highlighting the creativity and audacity of young inventors.

This new section aims to:

Stimulate creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship from an early age.

Promote emerging talent.

Build bridges between generations.

Strengthen links between schools, institutions and the professional world.

Each project will be exhibited at the Exhibition and evaluated by a dedicated jury. The best projects will be awarded prizes at a public ceremony, which will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the WIPO/IPI stage.
