The Grand Prix of the 42nd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva was awarded to the Swiss company IREWIND for its system with cameras, which follow a movement, recognise it, mount it as an image and immediately puts it on display in the shape of a customised film to anyone who has a smartphone.
The user just has to download the application. All the rest is automatic. A ski run, a cycling track, a cultural event or places which may need to be watched, there is no limit to the possible areas of use. The person moving is geolocalised very precisely. The camera films him/her according to a predefined angle and exposure. Each terminal is independent and transmits images to a server, which assembles them, sends them on to the person who has been filmed, in a personalised form, or to another recipient who has been preapproved by the application’s owner. According to the number of terminals existing, the system can cover all or part of a predefined route. It is completely mobile and transportable.
